The Owl Of Minerva

Owl of Minerva: Symbol of Wisdom and Insight

The Owl Of Minerva

In Adam Weishaupt's original vision, Illuminati membership was broken into three basic ranks: novices, minervals (named after the Roman goddess Minerva), and illuminated minervals. Weishaupt chose the goddess's insignia, which features an owl sitting atop a book, to represent the third degree.

Why? Minerva was, among other things, the goddess of wisdom, her name deriving from the Latin word meminisse, "to remember." Thus, her insignia represented the Illuminati's thirst for knowledge and rational thought.

The owl of wealth,Knowledge, wisdom, perspicacity, erudition, health and power. This is the sacred owl of the Illuminati.

The owl is frequently depicted in imagery related to the Bohemian Grove, a private club in California known for its annual gatherings that include influential political and business leaders. In this context, the owl symbolizes the elite's control over knowledge and power, as well as the idea of a hidden agenda.

Overall, the owl serves as a multifaceted symbol, representing both positive attributes like wisdom and negative connotations linked to secrecy and elitism in various cultural and conspiratorial narratives.

The owl looks for wisdom, wherever it’s likely to be found. So, shouldn’t we first look at the natural sciences with their present puzzlements? From my bird’s eye view, I’ve been lately getting the impression that previous assumptions, about life happening on our earth as the result of chance combinations of chemicals, can no longer be sustained by those who know how numerous and intricate are the combinations in a single cell — beyond what chance alone could explain.
